PsalmPause Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026
PsalmPause is built so that nothing reaches us. This policy is short because there is very little to say.
What we collect
Nothing. PsalmPause has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information.
Where your data lives
- Your prayer history (the days you prayed) is stored on your device and backed up to your own iCloud account using Apple's key-value storage, so it survives reinstalls and new devices. It is visible only to your Apple account — it never passes through any server of ours, and we cannot read it.
- Your choice of paused apps is handled by Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. Apple's design means PsalmPause cannot see which apps you choose — the selection is opaque to us by construction.
- Notifications are scheduled locally on your device and are used only to return you to PsalmPause when you choose to pray before unlocking an app.
Subscriptions
Full access is offered through Apple's App Store. Payment, billing, and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple. PsalmPause checks your subscription status on-device and receives no personal payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to the purchase itself.
Children
PsalmPause does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date. Given the app's design, meaningful changes are unlikely.
